Mr. Deng Weidong was born in July 1967. He Currently is General Manager of Capital Investment & Management Department of China Merchants Group. He graduated from Nanjing University with a PhD of Physical Geography in 1994. He obtained a Master degree of Marine Management from Dalhousie University, Canada in September 2002. Mr.Deng previously served as Deputy General Manager of China Merchants Holdings (International) Company Limited(rename as China Merchants Port). He has vast experience in port management and port operation. Mr.Deng also served in Administration Bureau of Hainan Yangpu Economic Development Zone, working successively as the Deputy General Manager of Chiwan Container Terminal. He served as a Director at Shenzhen Chiwan Wharf Holdings Ltd. since January 31, 2013.
