With the theme of “Regional Co-operation between Hong Kong and East Asia: Innovating New Ideas Embracing New Opportunities”, this year’s Summit will explore new global economic developments from a macro perspective and with a new mindset, in particular the challenges and implications that the “Belt and Road Initiative” and the ASEAN Economic Community will bring to promoting free trade and regional integrated development in East Asia in order to uncover insight into the underlying business opportunities. The Summit will also explore new space for development of the East Asian market in new economic development areas such as innovative industries and the digital economy.
